CEC Test
The Cation Exchange Capacity is a measure of the potential reactivity of the clay components. Unit of measurement is milli-equivalent per 100 gram of dry clay

EDS Test
Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy is a chemical microanalysis technique used in conjunction with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The EDS technique detects elemental composition of the analyzed volume.

XRD Test
X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) is a technique used in materials science to determine the crystallographic structure of a material. XRD works by irradiating a material with incident X-rays and then measuring the intensities and scattering angles of the X-rays that leave the material.

Shale Inhibition

In Matrix we are performing all the tests for shale inhibition.

Swell Meter Test


LSM helps determine shale hydration or dehydration by measuring the increase or decrease in length over time of reconstituted or intact shale core. Final test results will be reported below test result. 

Dispersion Test

 

This test will show the inhibition level in each kind of WBM or OBM. Higher recovery% from this test, higher inhibition characteristics in place.
