Matrix ASAP™ – A Special Application Plug – is a unique, solids free, resin product developed by Matrix as an alternative to traditional cement. With up to twice the compressive strength and 40 times the tensile strength of cement, Matrix ASAP™ is a superior option for remedial cement situations. Ideal for casing vent leaks, well integrity, kick off plugs, wellbore strengthening, water shut-off, and abandonment plugs.

Years after an oil and gas well has been abandoned it can develop gas leaks. This could be due to poor cement coverage, improper abandonment, over pressurization of the well, or micro-channelling in the cement. The properties of resin make it an ideal solution in these situations.
